The procedure for providing students with a place in student dormitories

To accommodate visiting and foreign students, the university has four student dormitories. Places in dormitories are provided by deans of faculties, in accordance with the “Regulations on the procedure for providing places to students and Rules for living in student dormitories of ATU.”

To do this, the student needs:

  • Fill out an application addressed to the dean of the faculty for a place in the dormitory.
  • Conclude an agreement with the university management regarding the provision of a place in the dormitory and the responsibility of the parties.
  • Go through a medical examination at the ATU health center, which is located on the second floor of hostel No. 1.
  • Make payment for accommodation in the dormitory in the amount of at least 50% of the total amount before receiving a check-in order from Bank CenterCredit JSC, pay the remaining amount before the start of the winter examination session.
  • Complete electronic registration with the vice-rector for educational work.
  • Obtain a warrant for residence in the dormitory from the deputy dean of the faculty.
  • With all the documents, go to the head of the dormitory to get a place in the room.

Residents of the dormitory have the right:

  • live in assigned residential premises for the entire period of study, subject to compliance with the Internal Regulations and the contract;
  • use sanitary facilities (rooms, showers, toilets, etc.), equipment and property of the hostel;
  • move from one residential premises to another only with the written permission of the deputy deans of faculties;
  • elect and be elected to the student council, take part in its work, make proposals for improving housing and cultural services and achieve their implementation.

Residents of the dormitory are obliged to:

  • strictly comply with the internal regulations, safety rules, fire safety rules, contracts and other acts regulating the issues of living in the hostel;
  • Save energy, gas and water. When leaving a residential (or sanitary) premises, close the hot and cold water supply taps, windows, vents, doors, turn off the lights and electrical appliances;
  • hand over the spare key to the residential premises for storage to the dormitory guard, use the residential premises strictly for living, do not hand over the key and do not provide the residential premises (a place in it) to unauthorized persons;
  • treat the property of the hostel with care, maintain cleanliness in the living quarters and common areas, and carry out regular cleaning in your living quarters;
  • bear full financial responsibility for the hostel property received for individual use; in case of damage (loss) of the specified property, as well as in case of detection of damage to premises, furniture, other property (electrical networks, window glass, doors, locks, lamps, etc.), reimburse the full cost of the material damage caused.
  • return hostel property after eviction;
  • do not allow guests to be in the living quarters unless there is the consent of the neighbors and the permission of the university administration or the commandant of the dormitory.

Residents of the dormitory are prohibited from:

  • move in without permission and move from one residential premises to another without the written permission of the deputy deans of faculties. Living in a residential area other than that specified in the order is a gross violation of internal regulations;
  • to arbitrarily transfer dormitory property received for individual use from one residential premises to another without the written permission of the dormitory commandant;
  • transfer your pass to enter the dormitory to another person; – smoking in all areas of the dormitory, being in the dormitory in a state of alcoholic, narcotic or toxic intoxication, as well as storing, consuming and distributing alcoholic beverages, narcotic and psychotropic substances;
  • turn on audio, television and video equipment at a volume exceeding audibility within the living space;
  • keep animals (including domestic ones), reptiles, birds; – litter on the territory of the dormitory, leave garbage in the corridors, in the kitchen and other common areas;
  • use electrical equipment, including electrical extension cords and adapters, that do not have quality certificates;
  • go out onto the roof, go up to the attic, stand and sit on window sills and balconies;
  • gambling, using foul language, organizing fights and brawls;
  • enter the living quarters of other residents without their consent.

Residents of the dormitory who violate the above requirements of the Internal Regulations, as well as the Safety Rules, fire safety, sanitary rules, rental agreements, and who are disrespectful to the service personnel and administration, members of the student council of the dormitory, floor leaders and senior living quarters, are evicted from the dormitory without the right to return the remaining amount of payment for accommodation.
